The New Day, one of the most exuberant SmackDown Tag Team Champions in WWE history, does not yet have tag challengers for WWE TLC 2019. The following will predict three possible opponents for the SmackDown Tag Team Champions on a PPV that is surely not well known for tender loving care.

Imagine eating pancakes at IHOP with The New Day. Whoever does it will enjoy and appreciate humorous jokes, compelling stories, and most importantly the power of positivity.

Quite frankly, these are the same aspects the WWE Universe enjoys and appreciates about The New Day every time they speak on the mic and wrestle in the ring. Because of this, The New Day has a fulfilling connection with the fans that no other superstar, tag team, and faction can neither mimic nor replace.

Indeed, this is the principal reason The New Day are the current SmackDown Tag Team Champions. Originally, Big E and Xavier Woods dethroned Daniel Bryan and Erick Rowan at Extreme Rules 2019 in July. It was expected that they would hold onto the championship for a prolonged period of time, but they lost the Tag Team Championships to The Revival in their very first title defense at Clash of Champions 2019.

In their quest to win the tag championships back, Woods unfortunately got injured after Kofi Kingston lost the WWE Championship to Brock Lesnar. Henceforth, Kingston and Big E teamed up to win the tag team championships back from The Revival on SmackDown two weeks ago.

This victory was not only seen as a tribute to Xavier Woods’ incredible contributions to The New Day whilst he recovers from his debilitating injury but also a consolation prize for Kingston after losing his WWE Championship to Lesnar on a SmackDown in less than ten seconds.

Nonetheless, The New Day have drawn their attention away from the WWE Championship, and the following will identify and pontificate three potential challengers for their SmackDown Tag Team Championships at WWE TLC 2019.
