In recalling his WWE exit, ACH (fka Jordan Myles) addressed why he called ROH’s Jay Lethal an “Uncle Tom,” tracing it back to a personal incident between them.

For those unaware, a questionable (and admittedly ill-advised) t-shirt that WWE released in Jordan Myles’ name resembling blackface. It caused a rift between the NXT Breakout Tournament winner and the WWE that he verbalized in a series of comments he started tweeting out back in the tail end of October.

Midway into November, the former NJPW star publicly quit the WWE. His release was eventually granted and last night, he made his return to the indies (specifically, MLW) as ACH. But backtracking to his WWE exit, one notable comment he made was directed towards Jay Lethal of ROH fame.

During his tweets back in October, he called out the former Ring of Honor World Champion as an “Uncle Tom.” Critics like Titus O’Neil (in a tweet) criticized ACH for bringing others who aren’t involved in the situation into it, but in new follow-up tweets, ACH explains where his frustrations with Lethal resonate.

In the first of these new tweets, ACH recalls Lethal slapping him in a hotel lobby for using the N word (which ACH claims Lethal uses himself) and then hitting him back in response. ACH was told he needed to apologize and only out of respect for Jimmy Jacobs, ACH did just that. Lethal did not apologize for slapping ACH in the first place.

Not only does he double down on his “Uncle Tom” comment, ACH straight up adds, “I don’t like him. I never will. Stop asking me to apologize for what I’ve said because I won’t ever.”

Much like his time with WWE, it sounds like ACH had a tumultuous and, rather, unfortunate time with Ring of Honor. Hopefully, now that he’s returned to the independent scene, better times and success can lay ahead for the former AAW Heavyweight Champion.
