On December 5th, Ohio natives Sami Callihan and Rich Swann will compete for the Impact World Title live from Dayton for the latest No Surrender PPV.

For 10 years, between 2005 and 2015, No Surrender served as a staple of Impact Wrestling’s Pay-Per-View line-up. No Surrender offered some of the best and most memorable moments in the brand’s history.

Such moments over the years included Kurt Angle’s signing announcement in 2006, The Wolves defeating both The Hardys and The Dudley Boyz (fka Team 3D) in a 2014 Ladder Match, and AJ Styles winning his first Impact World Championship in 2009. Impact stopped producing No Surrender events in 2015, but in 2019, the show makes a comeback.

Not only is Impact reviving this event, but will do with a bang thanks to an explosive card. While most of Impact’s more recent television episodes on AXS TV have been building towards their first PPV of 2020, Hard to Kill (which makes sense, given Tessa Blanchard will become the first woman to battle for a World Title there in wrestling PPV history), that is still a month away.

Before Hard to Kill, No Surrender reboots old rivalries and surges energy into new ones, all while continuing storylines we’ve seen take place over the past few weeks.

No Surrender will air live from Dayton, Ohio and exclusively on Impact’s official streaming service, Impact Plus, tonight at 8 p.m. EST. If a main event featuring Ohio’s own Sami Callihan and Rich Swann battling for the Impact World Heavyweight Championship does not convince you to tune in, then let us rundown the rest of the card for further consideration.
