Impact Wrestling’s Motown Showdown to air live on AXS TV
A day removed from Impact Wrestling’s No Surrender Pay-Per-View, their next event – Motown Showdown – will be televised for free for the masses on AXS TV.
Impact Wrestling aired its latest PPV, No Surrender, last night exclusively on its streaming service, Impact Plus. Granted, while the the live feed worked on Fite TV, the Impact Plus feed was unfortunately struck with technically difficulties (as Impact themselves highlighted in a tweet) so the PPV was not live on the app, but the show is now available on the app in its entirety.
Now, Impact hope to move on from No Surrender to their next event, Motown Showdown, a day later and not only will this show by live, but it will be free! In fact, those in the Belleville, Michigan area can still buy tickets for the event as some are still available.
The Motown state will house Impact action as the promotion also teams up with local indie fed, BCW. After Sami Callihan narrowly retained his World Title against Rich Swann last night, but already tonight, he must defend his title again. This time, it will be against The Man Beast and Michigan native, Rhino.
Other matches to take place tonight will include the following:
- Taya Valkyrie and Rosemary vs. Madison Rayne and Havok
- Brian Cage vs. Michael Elgin
- Ace Austin (c) vs. Dez – X-Division Championship
- Madman Fulton vs. Eddie Edwards
- Willie Mack and Rich Swann vs. oVe (Dave and Jake Crist)
- The Rascalz (Trey and Wentz) vs. Desi Hit Squad (Rohit Roju and Mahabali Shera)
Impact’s Motown Showdown airs live and free on AXS TV starting at 7 p.m. tonight. Check your local listings to see what channel you can watch AXS TV on, but for those who do not have access to AXS TV (or television itself), the show will still be available to watch on Impact’s Twitch stream at the exact same time; again, live and free.
