Fans have eagerly awaited news of when and where All Elite Wrestling’s next Pay-Per-View event will take place. Now, after a new AEW Dynamite, we know the answer.

As revealed during tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite, we will not be seeing All Elite Wrestling action on Pay-Per-View again before the year is over, but we can expect a new PPV to ring in the new year early on.

AEW’s first PPV of 2020 will be named Revolution.

It was only a few days ago that Fightful reported that the folks at AEW had filed new trademarks for the phrase “Join the Revolution” and months prior, back in August, WrestlingInc reported that AEW had applied for the trademark “AEW Revolution.” Now we know exactly what those trademarks will be used for going forward.

It was revealed on Dynamite that not only will their first PPV of the new year take place on Feb. 29, but the company will be returning to Chicago, Illinois for the event.

Chi-Town has practically become AEW’s unofficial home by now. It was in Aug. 2018 that the folks over at The Elite held their first PPV event, All In.

This was, of course, prior to AEW’s official beginnings in the following January, but as the highest grossing independent wrestling show of all time, it paved the way for Cody and Co. to make the jump to officially start their own wrestling promotion.

Then, a year later in 2019, once AEW commenced, The Elite held their All Out PPV. The company returned to Chicago again more recently to tape the Nov. 27 episode of Dynamite.
