AEW Champ Chris Jericho accuses WWE’s Miz of stealing “everything”

Another chapter of the non-existent WWE vs. AEW “war” continues as World Champion Chris Jericho accuses a SmackDown Superstar of thievery at TLC.

We have spoken over and over about why this whole WWE vs. AEW thing is far from an actual “war,” but boy, both parties are trying their hardest to start one. Between the petty jabs and the subtle jokes directed at each other on their respective programs, AEW’s top champion is now making some damning accusations against SmackDown’s A-list star.

Last night was WWE’s final Pay-Per-View of 2019 and featured Universal Champion Bray Wyatt in a winning effort against The Miz. Before taking that L, the 8-time Intercontinental Champion waltzed down the ring wearing a swanky jacket that somewhat resembled one worn by the Fozzy lead singer.

A Twitter user snitch tagged the offense to the AEW World Champion himself and said champion responded by saying “He stole everything else, so whatevs.”

As of this writing, The Miz has yet to respond, but even if the former WWE Champion does tweet back, most fans should not take this with any more than a grain of salt.

Keep in mind that both Miz and Jericho have worked together onscreen in the past and have formed a friendship behind the scenes. If nothing else, this is likely just a joke on behalf of Jericho to a friend and, above all else, just another silly jab from one brand to another in the “war” that totally is not a war.

As The Miz tries to recover from both a PPV loss and a sick burn from Jericho, the latter champion prepares to face off against underdog Jungle Boy in a non-title 10-minute time limit match on the next episode of AEW Dynamite airing this Wednesday at 8 p.m. sharp on TNT.

While he does not have a match announced yet, fans can also tune in to FOX at 8 p.m. sharp this Friday for SmackDown to catch The Miz in action.
