2019 was the year of The Man. Becky Lynch reached unimaginable heights in this year. There were numerous moments that showed why Lynch took her place in the main event of WWE WrestleMania 35.

Of course, not every feud was a home run. It’s impossible for one wrestler to have a year of nothing but great matches and feuds without a few that under delivered. But Becky Lynch’s WWE run this year had more great matches that not this year. The great matches will stay with fans for longer than any bad spots that Lynch might have had this year.

With 2019 coming to a close, now is a great time to review the five best PPV matches that Becky Lynch had.

#5. Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair vs. The Kabuki Warriors – TLC 2019

In this match, all four of these women pushed themselves to their limits. There were a few pieces to this match that missed the mark, but their level of intensity was greater than a few misses.

The match took its toll on all four of the wrestlers, including Kairi Sane, who at some point in the match received a concussion. All of the three remaining women went through a physical match that could take years off of careers.

Prior to the feud The Kabuki Warriors had with Lynch and Flair, the Women’s Tag Team Championships lacked a certain level of credibility. This match helped add more value to titles because the top two women’s wrestlers on RAW were chasing them.

What made this match stand out was the new level of physicality that all four women showed in this contest. The pairing of Lynch and Flair, who have been rivals for a long time, seemed to be a placeholder. They did work well together in the match, but the money is in them staying apart and working against each other.

The best part of the match is it helped to grow the storyline between Asuka and Lynch for a match down the road.

The Kabuki Warriors retained the RAW Women’s Tag Team Championships in a match that won’t soon be forgotten. It should also add more fuel to the fire for Lynch v Asuka: The Rematch.
