#4. Bayley

2019 has been an interesting year for Bayley because not only did she win titles, but she also took a completely unexpected (yet totally needed) heel turn. Though we witnessed a significant shift in her character, this shift was like a breath of fresh air. This new personality that Bayley took on certainly helped her capture the SmackDown Women’s Championship in the latter half of this year.

In addition, Bayley, alongside best friend, Sasha Banks, also won the 2019 Women’s Elimination Chamber back in February to become the inaugural Women’s Tag Team Champions.

After they lost those titles after two months at WrestleMania 35, Bayley went on to win the Money in the  Bank Ladder Match before cashing her Money in the Bank contract against Charlotte Flair in the same night to earn the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship.

For months at each Pay-Per-View, Bayley retained the title until losing the title at Hell in a Cell to Charlotte Flair, allowing The Queen to earn her record-breaking 10th championship reign.

Shortly after this Hell in the Cell loss, Bayley debuted her aforementioned new character to take back the SmackDown Women’s Championship from Charlotte. Ever since then, Bayley has been reigning as the current champ.

While many were in disbelief and doubt about this new heel turn, it has helped Bayley finish off 2019 strong! No doubt, Bayley is one of the best WWE women’s wrestlers of 2019.
