#2. Charlotte Flair

2019 bode well for The Queen as Charlotte Flair accomplished a great deal, including stepping out from under her father Ric Flair’s shadow and creating her own legacy.

Charlotte was hand-picked by Mr. Vince McMahon himself to face Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania 35 for the RAW Women’s Championship. Of course, this match ultimately became a Triple Threat match, Charlotte walked into this match as SmackDown Women’s Champion, after she defeated Asuka for the gold.

While Flair did lose her title in this match, she went on to win it back at Money in the Bank, thanks to some assistance from The Southern Belle, Lacey Evans.

Charlotte also earned the distinct honor of wrestling Hall of Famer Trish Stratus at SummerSlam, and came out victorious! Not many female wrestlers have the honor of saying that they hold a win over a current Hall of Famer, or Trish Stratus nonetheless!

For Charlotte Flair, 2019 is also the year that she was able to make history when she captured the Women’s Championship for her 10th time, after defeating Bayley at Hell in a Cell.

Charlotte Flair has been on fire this year. She even captained Team Raw at Survivor Series and then teamed up with The Man at TLC in the main event against The Kabuki Warriors.

All in all, Flair has shown the entire WWE Universe why she is one of the top female wrestlers in WWE for 2019. Since the beginning of the year, The Queen has established her hierarchy in the women’s division and continuously showed the women’s division why she deserves to be where she is.

For Charlotte Flair, 2019 has been nothing but breaking barriers, gold belts and history books.
