Ariane Andrew, who was known as Cameron in WWE, will make her return to the ring on Apr. 4 over WrestleMania weekend at EFFY’s Big Gay Brunch.

I never thought I would write this title in my lifetime, but wrestling is truly a gift. Thank you, EFFY.

The hottest wrestler on the independent scene, EFFY is holding a Big Gay Brunch over WrestleMania weekend in Tampa in his effort to Make Wrestling Gayer.

Even before this announcement, EFFY’s show (OK, technically it’s presented by Game Changer Wrestling) looked incredible, but it’s become that much more exciting with the news that former WWE superstar Cameron will make her return to the ring on Saturday, Apr. 4 in Ybor City.

Please, someone. Wake me up from this dream.

Ariane Andrew hasn’t wrestled in nearly four years, as she was released in May 2016 by WWE. She put over Alexa Bliss in her final match with the company, as she was a veteran competing in NXT to help the next crop of talent. And yes, she did face Asuka at one point.

Cameron was an important part of WWE from 2012 to 2015, but bigger things could be ahead for her in 2020 now that she’s back in wrestling. The industry has never been healthier, and Cameron is still only 32. With a strong year, the world will be her oyster, and there are so many fans exciting about her return.

I can’t think of a better venue for Cameron than EFFY’s Big Gay Brunch. EFFY is an absolute visionary in wrestling, so this is definitely a show to check out over ‘Mania weekend. Hopefully, Ariane Andrew’s presence seals that for fans who were on the fence (or living under a rock).

dark. Next. WWE disrespected LGBT+ people again

I can’t wait to see who Andrew faces in her first match back after years away from the ring. For more information on EFFY’s show with GCW, follow the link here.

Tickets cost between $20 and $125, and the show will take place at The Cuban Club in Tampa’s Ybor City district at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Apr. 4.
