Christopher Daniels vs. Sammy Guevara

Daniels and Guevara started the match fast, but Daniels was able to keep up with Sammy and even hit an armdrag. Daniels hit 2 more and a slam. Daniels chopped Sammy a few times in the corner and sent him across the ring. Sammy pulled the referee in the way and hit a cheap shot on Daniels before hitting a double stomp on Daniels.

Sammy picked up Daniels in a fireman’s carry, did a squat, and then hit a fireman’s carry for a 2-count. Sammy stood on Daniels’ back and did a moonsault and did a backwards Fargo strut. Sammy hit a hook kick on Daniels and dropped him. Sammy went for a 450, but Daniels moved and then hit an exploder suplex.

Daniels hit a clothesline and then a Blue Thunder Bomb for a 2 count. Daniels called for Angel’s Wings, but Guevara slipped out and hit a running knee strike and a shooting star press. Daniels kicked out. Guevara drove Daniels to the corner and went for a move, but Daniels shoved him off the top rope and hit an STO.

Pentagon Jr. came out on the mic and asked Daniels to do the Arabian Moonsault. Daniels charged at Guevara, but Guevara hit a boot and then a hard kick to Daniel’s head and scored the pinfall.

Result: Sammy Guevara

Rating: **1/4 (2.25 stars)

This was a perfectly fine match, but the ending was a bit abrupt.

After the match, The Dark Order came out, and Evil Uno talked about how Christopher Daniels was a part of why he is a wrestler today, but that the fans didn’t believe in Daniels anymore. Evil Uno said that Daniels lost a step, but that he could help him become the man he once was. Evil Uno offered him a Creeper mask, as the crowd chanted SCU.

Daniels took the mask, and it looked like he was thinking about it, he threw it at Evil Uno. Alex Reynolds, Stu Grayson, Jon Silver, and the Creepers swarmed him. The Young Bucks and SCU ran down and made the save. Scorpio Sky hit a flip dive onto everyone on the floor, and Daniels hit the Best Moonsault Ever on Alex Reynolds. Dark Order backed off and left the ring.
