As WWE Royal Rumble 2020 is vastly approaching, we can’t help but eagerly anticipate and speculate for who could enter at #30 in the Women’s Rumble.

We are just over a week away from WWE Royal Rumble 2020 and by the same sword, we are just over a week away from seeing the third annual Women’s Royal Rumble match.

So far, the Women’s Rumble has only spawned two winners (Becky Lynch and Asuka) so far, with one winning gold at WrestleMania while the other left the show empty handed. So the next winner’s chances at winning at WrestleMania are 50/50 at this point, but the chances we should be thinking about right now are who has the best chance to win the Royal Rumble.

More often than not, the best chances come for whoever comes in last at the #30 slot. A slot that is typically reserved for the biggest of names and make for some big moments. Given the importance of the #30 entrance, we have to wonder and speculate who could pick up that number on Jan. 26.

Let’s look at a champion, first.

Bayley

I know, I know, I know. Bayley has a World Championship and does not need to be in the Royal Rumble, but you know what? So does Brock Lesnar and, when I think about the storyline setting the stage for The Beast in the Rumble, it’s a story that I think fits Bayley a little bit better.

I read this storyline as Lesnar’s way to assert his dominance and prove that he’s the baddest man on his brand that nobody can beat. But nobody has disputed that. Bayley’s own dominance, however, has been disputed. The fact that people have doubted her to the point that she started to doubt herself is what opened the door for her drastic transformation back in the fall to begin with.

Even in lieu of the transformation, there was still doubt in Bayley’s SmackDown Women’s Championship run after she took the L in the main event of Survivor Series.

Considering she (as of this writing) does not have a title match booked for the Rumble (although it’s likely she’ll face Lacey Evans at the PPV), doesn’t it make more sense if Bayley entered herself in the Royal Rumble, declaring to outlast 29 other women to prove her doubters/critics/haters wrong about her?

Outside of just shameless fantasy booking, I just think it’d be a cool thing to see is all.
