With WWE Royal Rumble 2020 coming around the corner, let’s predict what big surprises could be in store in the Women’s Rumble match.

Everyone loves a good swerve, bro. Well, maybe not everyone. On second thought, you can keep the Russo swerves to yourself, but when a swerve is good, a swerve is good. WWE Royal Rumble 2020 is the ideal place to house a few swerves here and there.

The Royal Rumble itself has yielded to a few good swerves over the years that we still remember to this day. Pleasant surprises like rookie Maven eliminating The Undertaker in 2002, John Cena returning early from injury to claim the #30 spot in 2008, AJ Styles making his shocking debut in 2016 … the list of shocking swerves that have taken place in the match type over the course of the last three decades is endless.

Even in the Women’s Royal Rumble match, which so far has a short life span at two years and counting, there have been a good handful of shocking swerves. The most shocking so far taking place last year during the second annual match, when Becky Lynch subbed in for an injured Lana to win the whole thing.

What could happen during this year’s Women’s Rumble? Let’s start speculating …

Nia Jax returns and cleans house

We read recently that it may be unlikely that Nia Jax could return from injury at the Royal Rumble, but what if she does? And if she does, why not have her just clean house?

The woman showed out in a tremendous performance during the Women’s Rumble before swerving us all with a Men’s Rumble run-in later in the night. Maybe she could enter this year’s Rumble even more fired up and determined than ever before. She could return in a big way by claiming the record for most women eliminated during the Rumble.
