3. Private Party

While I’ll admit I was unfamiliar with Marq Quen and Isaiah Kassidy before they joined the AEW roster in 2019, Private Party have earned my fandom with utterly stellar performances in the All Elite squared circle.

From their showings on AEW pre-Dynamite pay-per-views to their impressive run in the Tag Team title tournament which was ultimately won by SCU.

Private Party have provided many memorable moments in such a short amount of time due to their superior athleticism and – while still very green – their very creative tandem offense reminiscent of The Young Bucks.

What can potentially be an interesting pay off is their quasi-weekly interactions with an inebriated Adam Page which led to him owing them $12 and the New Yorkers worrying about Page’s well-being as he continues his boozy antics.

Sure, it isn’t Cody finally getting his hands on MJF, but it’s still long-term storytelling and there’s no question they’d have a fantastic match with Omega and Page.

Private Party challenging for the snakeskin straps at ‘Revolution’ possibly means Page doesn’t turn heel on AEW’s first paid event of 2020 with the AEW brass choosing to have it happen on ‘Dynamite’ or ‘Double or Nothing’ instead.
