If rumors suggesting that The Undertaker could have a match at WrestleMania 36 are true, the bigger question is who WWE Superstar could wrestle The Deadman?

WrestleMania 36 is slowly continuing to take shape as each week goes on. As WWE continue to progress storylines and announce matches, the more we start to hear kooky rumors as far as concerning what could be added to the show’s supercard.

Among those kooky rumors: there has been speculation that a certain future Hall of Famer could make his shocking return to the The Grandest Stage of Them All. That Hall of Famer in question is none other than The Undertaker.

Taker missed Mania last year and depending on who you are, you either thought Mania still felt spectacular without The Phenom, or you felt like he was sorely missed from the show. If you fall into the latter, then you are probably delighted at this latest rumor, especially when it’s supported by news that he is back training at the Performance Center.

If the intrigue is there, then the bigger question is who could he be facing? Here are some likely candidates …

5. AJ Styles

I’m sure you’ve heard the rumors by now. You know, the ones suggesting that The Undertaker and AJ Styles could throw down at WrestleMania. You know, the rumor that inspired this entire article to begin with.

Styles has always had a decorated opponent heading into the show, but he seems to be in limbo right now as far as where he could fit into Mania this year. Perhaps facing Taker – who would be his most decorated opponent ever, surely – would help solve that problem.
