While WWE’s WrestleMania 36 card still remains a mystery, there supposedly is a match currently in the plans that’ll pit two future Hall of Famers against each other.
According to WrestleZone, WWE still has an opponent slotted in for The Phenomenal One. An opponent does not get more phenomenal than The Phenom himself – The Undertaker.
The last time we heard anything regarding AJ Styles and his status for WrestleMania 36, it appeared that he may miss the show entirely due to a separated shoulder injury that he suffered during the Royal Rumble match this past January.
If this rumor is to be believed, it suggests that that Styles’ injury is not as severe as it originally seemed to be and he could be expected back sooner rather than later. Most importantly, he will at least be ring ready enough for a match on Apr. 5.

Meanwhile, The Undertaker’s last Mania match was at WrestleMania 34 in a memorably short contest with John Cena. Since then, Taker has wrestled almost exclusively at either house shows or live events in Saudi Arabia.
Though, his last in-ring match was at an actual PPV – Extreme Rules, in July of 2019 – where he and Roman Reigns won a No Holds Barred Tag Team Match against Drew McIntyre and Shane McMahon.
If a match of this caliber truly does come to pass in time for Mania season, a match of this magnitude between him and the former WWE Champ That Runs The Camp, it will be a dream match for many different fans as it would pit one of the figureheads of wrestling’s present against the centerpiece of wrestling’s past.
