Elimination Chamber is one week away and there’s only three matches on the card. What other matches should take place on the final stop before WrestleMania 36?

The build for this year’s Elimination Chamber isn’t quite what fans had hoped for with the event taking place just over one week removed from Super ShowDown. Having pay-per-view events within weeks of each other hasn’t proven to be successful, yet there’s a chance Elimination Chamber could surprise us.

The 2020 card has three matches confirmed so far: The Raw Women’s Elimination Chamber match, the SmackDown Tag Team Championship Elimination Chamber match, and the 3-on-1 handicap Intercontinental Championship match.

Based on how things are playing out, I predict fans will call this event a “glorified Raw,” much like they did with TLC 2019. Why? Because the bigger names and title matches are being saved for April 5th.

So, how can WWE book the card with effective matches to keep storylines rolling for WrestleMania 36? Here are my match predictions.

AJ Styles vs. Aleister Black

This bout will be a rematch from the scheduled encounter on Monday Night Raw. There’s no doubt that these two prolific competitors will tear the house down, but they should probably save their best stuff for a WWE Network event, right? Perhaps Black scores the “upset” over Styles on Raw, or there’s a non-finish involving The OC. Either way, Styles and Black should do battle once more at Elimination Chamber.

This rematch should play a part in setting up The Undertaker’s WrestleMania opponent. Styles appears to be the frontrunner after what went down at Super ShowDown. However, I know I wouldn’t be the only one hoping Black gets the chance to step in the right with The Phenom on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
