Now that Matt Hardy is finally free of WWE, here are some dream matches that we would love to see Hardy have in the future.

After weeks of rumors, Matt Hardy officially announced that he let his WWE contract lapse on Mar. 2. In his video, Thoughts from the Throne, Hardy stated that he left WWE on good terms and believe he will return home someday. He isn’t in any rush to sign anywhere.

In fact, the former “Woken” one will watch Monday Night RAW, AEW Dark and Dynamite, NWA Powerrr, IMPACT Wrestling, New Japan Pro Wrestling, Ring of Honor and MLW. Once he familiarizes himself with the products and talents, he will make a decision on where to go.

Hardy is about to get a crash course in what most wrestling fans know; there’s a plethora of options. Besides all the companies he named, there are independent promotions all over the globe that you can watch just by subscribing to their network or watching on YouTube. The world is Hardy’s oyster. He has his pick of where to go as the hottest free agent today.

Another plus for Hardy is that he owns the “Broken Matt” character and Broken Universe. He can take them wherever he goes. Some other entity can invade his vessel. Here’s just a sampling of matches that fans might get.
