Impact Wrestling will air their Rebellion Night One card on Tuesday. Here are predictions for the four advertised matches.

Impact Wrestling was going to have two big months of events before the pandemic forced plans to change. The company’s latest pay-per-view event, Rebellion, was set to air on pay-per-view on Sunday, April 19, before everything went down.

The storylines in motion and matches scheduled for the event seemed promising, but now we are left to wonder what could have been. Nevertheless, we will get to see Rebellion in the form of a two-night special on AXS TV starting this Tuesday, April 21, and concluding next Tuesday, April 28 during Impact Wrestling.

Four matches are currently advertised for Night One, so of course it’s time to break down what we can expect from those bouts, as well as who’s the most likely to walk away with a win under their belt.

Kylie Rae vs. Kiera Hogan

In what appears to be the only Knockouts match on Night One, newcomer Kylie Rae will be tasked with facing Impact regular Kiera Hogan in a singles match. Kylie Rae made her Impact debut last October at Bound For Glory, but didn’t pop back up until recently when she announced she has signed with the company.

By all accounts, this appears to be a first-time match-up for Rae and Hogan. While I would hate to see Kiera lose, this match is more than likely going in the favor of Kylie to establish her spot on the roster. Nevertheless, I’m excited to see what these two bring to the table together in an empty arena.

 Prediction: Kylie Rae triumphs

Tommy Dreamer, Rhino & ??? vs. oVe

Tommy Dreamer and Rhino will recruit a mystery partner to battle Jake Crist, Dave Crist, and Madman Fulton for a fun dose of six-man tag action. Who could the third man be? Recent booking trends suggest this is probably another TNA legend of some sorts, and more specifically, Raven.

Raven came to the aid of Dreamer and Rhino during the TNA special at the end of March when oVe had the numbers advantage. Of course, this will all depend on if Raven was able to attend Impact’s recent empty-arena tapings in Nashville.

Regarding who should win, I believe the heels could use the rub here. Impact fans have watched the trio lose plenty of matches over the last year or more to other tag teams and singles competitors. The hardcore legends will be just fine taking a loss.

Prediction: oVe rules
