Here are five WWE superstars who could make a successful move to AEW if they are looking for a new opportunity.

With the Twitter handle WrestleVotes recently reporting that the WWE is granting releases to “just about anyone” who wants out of this company, not to mention the slew of talent and employee layoffs as of late, it’s hard for any wrestling fan to refrain from speculating around WWE talent deciding to part ways with the company at some point this year.

We live in uncertain times right now; however, in an effort to be optimistic, things could slightly change over the next few months, as lockdown measures ease, and with All Elite Wrestling (AEW) nipping at the heels of the WWE, the idea of acquiring released WWE talent may be something the promotion wants to dive into further. It may also offer a chance for now-WWE talents to explore different opportunities within the land sports entertainment.

As such, below is a list of five WWE superstars who could make a successful jump to AEW, sometime this year.

Jeff Hardy

Seems highly unlikely at this point in time, as the WWE is pushing Hardy via video promos; however, considering all the angles that could be pulled together as his brother Matt is with the promotion, plus the cutting-edge storylines that AEW offers – this company could be a perfect fit for Hardy and his character.

A program that sees him against Matt at this point in time would set AEW on fire, and something that all fans would welcome. Whether they are aligned together or battling it out on separate sides of that squared circle, the Hardy brothers have incredible chemistry together.
