WWE: No one needs to win Money in the Bank more than Dana Brooke
While the Money in the Bank match has its fair share of favorites, no WWE Superstar needs the win more than Dana Brooke.
If I were to single out any of the WWE Superstars from either the Men’s or Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder match line-ups as someone who needs the win, I must make that argument for Dana Brooke. The keyword here is “need.”
By need, I mean that this Superstar needs to win in order to ensure their further, long term success. Newer stars like Aleister Black and Shayna Baszler still have time to bounce back if they lose. People like Asuka and Daniel Bryan will remain massively over regardless of their placement on the card and regardless if they win Money in the Bank.
Dana Brooke is a different story all together. Brooke is someone who has been quite literally on the cusp of a breakout for so long that some are starting to doubt if a breakout will ever come.
She has her fanbase, she’s likable, and she’s got a decent amount of fan investment from crowds. Yet, she cannot get over the hump of actually getting in the main event picture, opposed to being right outside of that door without being allowed to walk passed it.
It may not necessarily be because of anything Dana Brooke has done wrong. It’s simply a case of others being ahead of her in that main event line to get through the door. Just a case of her not being in the right place at the right time, but the Money in the Bank briefcase would finally put her in the exact right time that she needs to be.

Dana Brooke needs the Money in the Bank briefcase because unlike other competitors in the Money in the Bank match, it’s unclear when the next time she’ll get an opportunity like this to finally breakout once and for all.
