WWE Raw Predictions: Shayna Baszler will be ready for Asuka

WWE Raw is set to take place on May 18, 2020, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT live on USA with no audience in attendance. The following will preview and predict the major matches and segments that will occur on the longest weekly running episodic television show in history.
On this week’s episode of WWE Raw, there are two officially scheduled matches: (1) WWE Champion Drew McIntyre vs. King Corbin in a Brand to Brand Invitational Match, and (2) Bliss Cross Applesauce (c) vs. IIconics for the Women’s Tag Team Championships.
Last week on Raw, Randy Orton challenged Edge to a traditional wrestling match at WWE Backlash 2020 since their Last Man Standing Match at WrestleMania 36 was not a clear determinant for the superior wrestler. On this episode of Monday Night Raw, Edge, who has not partaken in a traditional wrestling match since returning to in-ring competition, is scheduled to respond to Orton’s ‘daunting’ challenge.
The WWE Universe will very likely be wondering who is next for the top champions on Raw, especially the new Raw Women’s Champion Asuka. Based on the huge pregnancy announcement by Becky Lynch from last week’s Monday Night Raw, it should be intriguing to predict future opponents for the Empress of Tomorrow.
With that being said, it’s now time to preview and predict this week’s WWE Raw, which is four weeks away from WWE Backlash 2020. To start things off, let’s predict what will be next for Aleister Black and Seth Rollins.
5.) What’s Next For Aleister Black and Seth Rollins?
On last week’s Raw, Aleister Black and Rey Mysterio defeated Seth Rollins and Murphy in a tag team match via disqualification. Initially despondent, Seth Rollins snapped when he was elbowed by Mysterio during the match and thrusted his eye on the corner of the steel steps. That is definitely going to hurt in the morning.
As for this episode of Monday Night Raw, Aleister Black will get revenge for Rey Mysterio by defeating Murphy and challenging Seth Rollins to a match at WWE Backlash 2020. Although it is strange for Black to fight in Mysterio’s honor, they had similar fates at WWE MITB 2020 by getting tossed off the roof and they now have common enemies in Rollins and Murphy.
