Here are the top five AEW theme songs for each division

Imagine the moments of wrestling that you loved, that stuck with you. It could be a moment in the ring or a special spot, but every wrestling match starts with one thing: an entrance.

Think back to the glass shattering, signaling to you that Stone Cold was about to open up his favorite can, or the Rock asking you if you smell his cooking. Theme songs can get you pumped, start the boos, or put you in the right mood for the match up.

AEW has a short history, approaching Dynamite’s year anniversary, and has already established some footing. What’s really helped them elevate their position in the world of professional wrestling is the depth of their roster. Naturally, these wrestlers have their own theme songs that play to their characters. At this point, there are some established faces whose song evokes a huge crowd reaction, some heels that just make the audience want to boo as loud as physically possible once their music starts, and everything in between. It also helps when the song is enjoyable to listen to on its own outside of the ring.

In this series, I take a look at all the AEW theme songs and do my personal ranking of which theme songs do their jobs effectively and aid their wrestler in achieving their goal to perform.

I have a top 5 ranking for the Men’s division, the Women’s division, and the Tag Team division.
