AEW Fyter Fest 2020 is a multi-night extravaganza this year, airing over two episodes of Dynamite beginning July 1. The Daily DDT staff weighs in with some predictions for the event.

2020 has been kind of a dumpster fire all around, hasn’t it? Just about the only good thing to come out of this cycle through the calendar is major wrestling promotions holding events split across multiple evenings. The latest of such events will be AEW Fyter Fest 2020.

New Japan got the ball rolling in January, holding a massive Wrestle Kingdom card on consecutive nights in January. Spurred on by the coronavirus pandemic forcing shows to be held in empty arenas, WWE followed suit in April and split WrestleMania over a full weekend, instead of a single 8-hour day (or cancelling, but that’s another story for another day).

Now, it’s All Elite Wrestling’s turn, with Fyter Fest taking place across two episodes of Dynamite beginning July 1. Despite numerous announced matches over the two nights, there are still some question marks surrounding the proceedings. Between the ever-further reach of the coronavirus pandemic and the age-old caveat of “card subject to change,” there’s no guarantee that what’s been announced will make it to air as scheduled.

But enough about the speculation: Let’s talk what we know! Members of the Daily DDT staff weighed in with predictions for some of the matches announced for AEW Fyter Fest 2020. We’re covering the three top matches for each night of the card. And away we go…
