Mandy Rose vs. Sonya Deville [No Disqualification Match: Loser Leaves WWE]

Result: Mandy Rose (via pinfall)

Rating: 3.5/5.0 Stars

Grade: B-, Good booking on having Mandy Rose win here. She needed her babyface comeuppance. On the other hand, it was still saddening to see Sonya Deville leave. She is one of the best heels in the WWE and a future women’s champion. Thank you, Sonya!

Mandy Rose delivered a Suplex to Sonya Deville on the ramp as well as a flying clothesline off the announce table. As soon as Rose set up a table, Deville had ample time to grab a steel chair and whack her with it. That table spot was never used again.

She utilized some innovative submission maneuvers to neutralize Rose’s momentum for the time being. However, Rose rallied back with three running knees and the ‘Kiss The Rose” for the pinfall and the victory. Otis celebrated with Rose after the match. Sonya Deville left WWE.

Seth Rollins (w/Buddy Murphy) vs. Dominick Mysterio (w/Rey Mysterio) [Street Fight]

Result: Seth Rollins (via pinfall)

Rating: 4.5/5.0 Stars

Grade: A-, For Dominick’s first match, it was really good. It was too early for him to defeat Rollins but he looked strong in defeat and his future is bright on the main roster. He still has a lot more work to do before becoming a main event superstar, but his stock is up for sure.

The match’s pace began eminently slow as Seth Rollins dominated the majority of the match. However, the pace picked up once Dominick Mysterio rallied back. Rollins attempted a Curb Stomp and Buckle Bomb but Mysterio countered with a Hurricanrana and Tornado DDT for the nearfall.

Dominick grabbed the Kendo Stick and whacked Rollins repeatedly. He went onto the top rope to deliver an aerial maneuver. However, Rollins countered by delivering a SuperPlex and Falcon’s Arrow for the nearfall.

Dominick and Rollins were on the top rope again. Dominick delivered a Kendo-Stick-Applied Russian Leg Sweep into the table as well as a Frog Splash for the nearfall. Rollins rallied back with a Superkick and a Powerbomb.

Murphy handed Rollins handcuffs, but Angie ran out with concern for her son. Dominick capitalized on the distraction by rolling up Rollins for the nearfall. Murphy attempted to shove Dominick’s eye in the steel steps but Rey Mysterio stopped him.

Unfortunately, for Rey Mysterio, Rollins and Murphy handcuffed Rey and targeted Angie. However, Dominick saved his mother and delivered two 619’s to Rollins. However, his Frog Splash was countered by a knee from Rollins and a Curb Stomp for the victory. Big match for Dom!
