AEW Full Gear 2020: Way too early full match card predictions

The Buy-In Match: Best Friends vs. The Dark Order (Evil Uno & Stu Grayson)

It’s become fairly standard to expect a standard tag team match during The Buy-In, and this one seems like an interesting next step for both teams. While Best Friends have been embroiled in a rivalry with Santana and Ortiz as of late, and The Dark Order has been preoccupied with Cody and friends, this would be a big opportunity for both teams at AEW Full Gear 2020.

It also ties into the TNT Championship Match that I’ve predicted for the night, which you’ll see shortly. These two tag teams have been staples of the division despite failing to capture the gold just yet, and it would be great to see them square off during The Buy-In for AEW Full Gear 2020 with hopes of earning a future shot at the AEW World Tag Team Titles.

AEW Women’s World Championship #1 Contendership Match: Nyla Rose vs. Thunder Rosa

Thunder Rosa made her debut on AEW Dynamite last week by defeating independent wrestling veteran Serena Deeb. The current NWA World Women’s Champion followed it up by challenging Hikaru Shida for the AEW Women’s World Championship in an unforgettable almost 17-minute clinic that stole the show at AEW All Out 2020.

While it’s not clear if Thunder Rosa will continue to be a mainstay within AEW, the company would be smart to ensure her presence doesn’t disappear considering the performances she’s delivered so far. Looking at AEW Full Gear 2020, a perfect opponent for Rosa would be former AEW Women’s World Champion Nyla Rose, as both competitors would be vying for an opportunity to win that title.
