AEW Full Gear: The Buy-In Pre-Show

Big Swole vs. Nyla Rose

This would be a match with only a few weeks of build, and honestly one that would be fitting as a part of The Buy-In. It’s important to note this potential clash being on The Buy-In is very different from the controversial and ultimately reversed decision by AEW to put Big Swole vs. Britt Baker on the pre-show before AEW All Out.

That move came after Swole and Baker had spent weeks upon weeks building up one of the best rivalries in the company. This, on the other hand, would be a match with minimal build that would still serve a great purpose of showcasing and putting a spotlight on two of the top talents in the company’s women’s division. Also, this would just be a great match.

AEW Full Gear: The Best Man’s pay-per-view debut

“The Best Man” Miro vs. Orange Cassidy

Going into AEW All Out and that show’s Casino Battle Royale, there was significant speculation that Miro, formerly WWE superstar Rusev, would make his AEW debut in that match. Ultimately that wouldn’t be the case, though we would see another WWE alum show up that night as Matt Sydal made his AEW debut in the Casino Battle Royale.

Just days later, Miro would finally arrive in AEW alongside Kip Sabian as “The Best Man.” After last week’s arcade gaming cabinet debacle, Sabian and Miro seem to have developed issues with Best Friends, which could easily set the stage for this must-see first time ever match at AEW Full Gear.
