AEW Full Gear 2020 arrives this Saturday, but which moments could shock us all and put the pay-per-view down as one of the most surprising in AEW history?

AEW Full Gear 2020 arrives tomorrow, and it has already shaped up to be a top-notch event. With every AEW title belt on the line, and even an NWA title, there’s sure to be some changes that shape the landscape of AEW moving forward.

From Eddie Kingston challenging Jon Moxley in an “I Quit” Match to Nyla Rose once again going after the AEW Women’s World Championship, there could be new champions. On top of that, The Inner Circle could see the biggest shift since the group’s inception of MJF defeats Chris Jericho and joins the faction.

AEW has already promised a “shocking surprise,” and there’s speculation that “The Icon” Sting could be appearing at AEW Full Gear. While that’s certainly possible, it’s not something I’m expecting this Saturday.

Instead, the shocks this Saturday will come as the current field in AEW gets shaken up beyond belief while another huge name on wrestling makes an unforgettable challenge and finally opens the forbidden door.

1. Allysin Kay dethrones Serena Deeb before AEW Full Gear begins

One of the last-minute announcements for AEW Full Gear has gifted us this low-key banger on The Buy-In. Serena Deeb only defeated Thunder Rosa for the NWA World Women’s Championship a few short weeks ago, and now she’s got a huge defense tomorrow.

Deeb will be up against a fellow veteran, but Allysin Kay (also known as Sienna) could be too much of a challenge this early in her reign. Especially with such little time to prepare, Allysin Kay seems poised to shock everyone by delivering an instant classic before AEW Full Gear even begins.

The extra intriguing factor in all of this is that Allysin Kay announced just a few short days ago that she was officially a free agent and no longer signed to NWA. Could she capture the title so soon after leaving the company as an official member of their roster?
