All Elite Wrestling has changed the wrestling landscape in two years since its inception. WWE is the wrestling juggernaut, but in two years of its functioning, AEW has stepped up to the wrestling promotion. All Elite Wrestling created a niche for itself through the quality of the matches and the way they have showcased stories.

It is a breath of fresh air, unlike WWE, All Elite Wrestling is creating superstars and not calling in old superstars or part-timers to fill in their program. It calls for an appreciation as All Elite Wrestling has put some legends to work but not in a way that takes away from the stars they are attempting to build.

We will take Darby Allin in this article to use as our example. Darby Allin is a famous superstar and has worked in the independent circuit, World Wrestling Network, Lucha Libre and Progress Wrestling. He made his entry in front of a bigger audience by stepping up against All Elite Wrestling’s Executive Vice President and gave a phenomenal performance. The show gave the fans a glimpse of Allin’ skills and the superstar has continually moved ahead as he’s been built with adequate feuds along the way.

Work in AEW Dark

Darby Allin was a name known to hardcore wrestling fans before joining AEW, but the promotion did a strong job introducing him through AEW Dark. The talented superstar is continually making waves with the work he does, and as AEW Dark is a web-only program, it helps him as he gets to showcase his skills to the world.

AEW Dark works as the first step towards helping him brush his skills while providing entertainment to the fans. It assists the superstar as he shares something valuable with everyone during the show and the following night inside the squared circle. He wasn’t known to the masses before he stepped inside the 20 feet by 20 feet in All Elite Wrestling, but he has built his base and continues to rise through the ranks with his in-ring performance.

AEW Dynamite

The work done by Darby Allin in the independent circuit followed by his efforts on AEW Dark put him in a commanding position at AEW Dynamite. Darby rose to the occasion and captured the TNT Title, and it’s a true testament to his effort. It is contrary to what WWE does as it brings in a new superstar and then puts the title on their shoulders to receive a lot of backlash from fans and wrestling experts.

The gradual journey towards becoming worthy ensures that the fans root for the champion when he holds the title. It is a fact for all superstars that are champions in All Elite Wrestling, and this helps the title holder as they feel that the work is appreciated.
