AEW will present its Beach Break show this Wednesday, as the build to the Revolution pay-per-view begins. The promotion will try its hand at the time-honored tradition of the wrestling wedding as Kip Sabian and Penelope Ford tie the knot.

As we all know, wrestling weddings rarely go off without a hitch. For weeks, Sabian, Ford, and Miro have routinely gotten the upper hand on Best Friends. The time seems right for Orange Cassidy to ruin the big day for Sabian and Ford and exact some revenge. How OC goes about doing so is anyone’s guess.  But whatever he comes up with will infuriate Miro and lead to a match between the two of them at Revolution.

In addition to the wedding, there are four matches announced for the card as well. Here is a look at the announced matches and what we can expect:

Thunder Rosa vs Dr. Britt Baker, DMD

After weeks of physical and verbal jabs, Thunder Rosa will finally be able to get her hands on Britt Baker in a wrestling match.

Baker has done a great job building her character into one of the most reviled in all of AEW. Rosa is a warrior with a never say die attitude that is looking to put Baker in her place.

Anytime that Rosa steps into the ring the match has a chance to be special. This match is no exception, as it has the potential to steal the show and set the tone for the AEW women’s division in 2021. In doing so, Baker will prove she is ready to take that next step to truly becoming the face of AEW’s women’s division.

While Rosa may eventually be the one who takes the AEW Women’s Championship from Baker in the future, this is Baker’s time. The good doctor will use Rosa as a springboard into the upcoming women’s tournament and eventually will dethrone Hikaru Shida at RevolutionWinner: Britt Baker

Eddie Kingston vs Lance Archer (Lumberjack Match)

Coming off of Eddie Kingston’s tainted victory over Lance Archer last week, these two will run it back Lumberjack style at Beach Break.

Kingston secured the victory over Archer last week with the help of Butcher, Blade, and Bunny. To ensure nothing like that happens again, the lumberjacks will surround the ring to ensure it is a true one-on-one match this time around.

As these matches often do, at some point the lumberjack match will turn into a free-for-all. Kingston’s family will still find a way to get involved again this week, but this time, the move will backfire. Archer will pick up the win here and even up this series with Kingston, setting up a third match in the near future. Winner: Lance Archer

Tag Team Battle Royal

Ten tag teams will fight it out in a battle royal to determine who will get a shot at The Young Bucks’ AEW Tag Team Championship Titles at Revolution. Last week, The Bucks announced that they would also be a part of the battle royal, and if they win, they will pick their own opponents at the PPV.

The seemingly upcoming feud between The Bucks and The Lucha Brothers appears to be scrapped after wrote off Penta El Zero M with an injury angle a couple of weeks ago, leaving The Young Bucks without an immediate program.

Aside from The Bucks, the battle royal will include the teams of Top Flight, Private Party, Jurassic Express, FTR, Chris Jericho & MJF, Dark Order, Sammy Guevara & Jake Hager, The Acclaimed, Santana & Ortiz.

With six of the twenty members of the battle royal being from The Inner Circle, it seems likely that the winners of this battle royal would come from that faction. However, the cracks in the foundation will continue to shine through in this match, as the Inner Circle will implode and turn on each other at some point.

FTR also seems like a logical choice to win the battle royal but I think another round between them and The Young Bucks would be better served a few months down the road. All things considered, the most likely option to win the battle royal is The Young Bucks.

The question then becomes who do The Bucks pick to wrestle at Revolution?  Would they challenge The Good Brothers? Or maybe Penta finds his way back in the mix in the next few weeks and we still have a shot at The Young Bucks vs The Lucha Brothers. I think The Bucks will keep us in suspense for a week or two before giving us an answer. Winners: The Young Bucks

Kenny Omega & The Good Brothers vs Jon Moxley, Pac & Rey Fenix

The main event will feature six men that have a lot of bad blood between them. Between Kenny Omega stealing the AEW Championship from Jon Moxley and The Good Brothers and Omega injuring Penta El Zero M, this may end up being more of a fight than a wrestling match.

The winner of this match is really secondary. What happens after the match, however, will tell the story in the build to Revolution.  At some point in the match, Mox will catch Karl Anderson with a Paradigm Shift and pick up the win for his team.

With the match decided, the fighting will continue. This will lead to The Young Bucks making an appearance and coming to the aid of Omega and The Good Brothers, creating a five on three advantage, and leading to the beatdown of Moxley, Pac, and Fenix.

With that, The Bucks will finally be off the fence between face and heel and they will reestablish the Bullet Club as the most dominant faction in AEW since the early days of the Inner Circle. Winners: Jon Moxley, Rey Fenix & Pac
