By Sam Gladen
America’s oldest and most respected Wrestling Federation the National Wrestling Alliance has a new home.
Just a few days after the National Wrestling Alliance pulled all of their content from their YouTube channel. The National Wrestling Alliance made a big splash in the internet wrestling community by announcing their latest venture and first Pay Per View in 2021 NWA: Back For The Attack which will air live on Fite.tv for $20.
But that’s not where the Fite.tv connection ends. According to a recent report from Gary Cassidy from Inside The Ropes. The NWA has signed an exclusive streaming deal for the company’s content library and will begin offering new episodes of NWA Powerrr following the Pay Per View for a “low-cost subscription bundle” the first such bundle for the IPPV giant.
The deal which was confirmed by Fite.tv via press release on thier Twitter account, reportedly encompasses their entire current streaming library. Including episodes of Powerrr and PPV’s from the Corrigan era.
"“FITE, the premier global digital platform for sports and entertainment, announced today that the National Wrestling Alliance will return on March 21st at 4pm ET with a live Pay Per view event; relaunching the promotion since it went on hiatus due to the global pandemic. Following the Back For The Attack’ PPV, the NWA will resume a full schedule of NWA POWERRR events on Tuesdays.”"

According to sources close to the company, the deal was struck after another sports streaming service offered a substantial deal to NWA owner Billy Corrigan which opened his eyes to the benefits of exclusive streaming but the current holder of the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship Nick Aldis, who has extensive experience with Fite.tv convinced Corrigan that they were the better bet and the deal was struck between the companies.
The subscription bundle is currently rumored to be 4.99 a month for the weekly television offering. There has been no word yet on if subscribers will receive discounts on NWA Pay Per Views going forward.
