Following Edge’s heel turn last night by laying out both Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns with chair shots to keep Daniel from beating the Universal Champion. Because of his actions, WWE management has chosen to add Bryan to the mix of the match.

WrestleMania is only 3 weeks away at this point so an official word from the WWE confirming the change is expected any time now.

The official card order has not yet been released so it is unclear which day will host the three-way main event matchup.

Other matches set up at FastLane.

FastLane is regularly considered a throw-away pay-per-view due to its proximity to WrestleMania but the WWE has done their best to make it required viewing this year. The Fiend, who has been tormenting Randy Orton from the shadows since his brutal murder at TLC last December. Using his “vessel” Alexa Bliss to worm his way inside the veteran superstar’s head for many months, he made his return last night. Burnt and scarred he crawled his way out of the ring. Making his official return to the roster and setting up for a WrestleMania match that will rival his destruction of John Cena last year.

Even the preshow had important happenings for the landscape of the WWE. Retribution has officially split up after Matt Riddle defeated Mustafa Ali for the United States Championship. This opens up some of the most impressive talents on the roster to finally be themselves and begin working as their own characters. Mia Yim, Dominik Dijakovic, Shane Thorn, and Dio Madden are all phenomenal talents who should be given the opportunity to rise on the card.
