Major League Wrestling announced big news on Monday that the promotion has signed a deal with VICE TV.

According to their release and accompanying reports, the show is set to debut in May and will coincide with the upcoming season of Dark Side of the Ring, which has been popular content for VICE since the start of the first season. The new season of Dark Side of the Ring is set to begin on May 6, with a story about Brian Pillman. MLW is expected to be a lead into the documentary series.

MLW is a brand of wrestling that has a strong cult following under the leadership of Court Bauer. Bauer has made it very clear that he is looking to get the promotion on as many platforms as possible. Currently, MLW has deals with BeIn Sport and DAZN, while still featuring content on the promotion’s YouTube account. According to 411Mania, MLW is also in talks with Discovery and other outlets as well. That report also points out a potential for MLW to bring fans back in for tapings starting in July.

MLW features a host of performers that wrestling fans will recognize, along with some newer names that are growing larger followings. Names such as Jacob Fatu, Alex Hammerstone, and Myron Reed are joined by well-known talent in Lio Rush, Mil Muertes, and Daivari.
