AEW Double Or Nothing 2021 is upon us, coming to you live this Sunday May 30th. The nine-match card will resonate from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida.

For the first time since February 29th, 2020, An AEW pay-per-view will have a full capacity crowd in attendance. We could be looking at the final All Elite Wrestling PPV to be held at Daily’s Place for a while now as the promotion recently announced that live shows will be hitting the road in July.

This will be the 3rd installment of Double Or Nothing and the 2nd which is being held in Jacksonville. With a red hot crowd ready to come unglued with each breathtaking maneuver and story unfolding in the ring, we are looking at the most anticipated AEW card since the pandemic halted some of the momentum that had been built in early 2020.

Every AEW championship will be at stake. We also have the potential culmination of a feud ending and a big-time battle royal where the winner earns an AEW world championship match in the future.

You can bet every performer on the card this Sunday is ready and eager to give an incredible performance. I fully expect this to be the best AEW card of the year thus far. Let’s halt the superlatives and dive into the predictions shall we!?

21 Man Casino Battle Royale  with the winner receiving a future AEW World championship match

The 1st ever AEW match was the Casino Battle Royale at Double Or Nothing in May of 2019. So there’s no surprise that this spectacle is making its return to this pay-per-view.

There is a lot of younger talent in this bout. Men such as Max Caster, Brian Pillman Jr, and Jungle Boy are rising performers. Multiple factions are also involved which will add to the drama that will ensue in this fun battle royal.

There are a plethora of ways you can go here. Penta El Cero Miedo has not had a single title shot in AEW. Powerhouse Hobbs could be elevated in this spot and bring some much-needed eyes on him and the rest of Team Taz.

One of the bigger mysteries in the bout is who will be the mystery competitor? Keep in mind that the ‘Joker’ (21st entrant) won the 19′ and 20′ Casino Battle Royale’s, so the participant will likely be a big one.

Many former WWE talents have been recently released or are unsigned and some are eligible to wrestle right away. (Andrade and Daniel Bryan come to mind) I don’t see this happening on a match that could be on the preshow. House money is GCW champion Nick Gage being the mystery man, seeing as he was featured on the popular series “Dark Side Of The Ring.”

The 2 most popular answers for who folks think will win this battle royal are Jungle Boy and Christian Cage. Jack Perry has had a few chances at AEW singles gold and fallen short in the process. While I feel he’s worthy of another shot, I don’t see it happening in the near future.

I will go with the obvious choice of Christian Cage, seeing as they teased him wanting a shot at Kenny Omega in his 1st ever AEW Dynamite appearance.  Rey Fenix will be your “Joker” entrant and the winner will be….

Prediction: Christian Cage Wins the Casino Battle Royale
