The Pinnacle vs. The Inner Circle-Stadium Stampede 2

Before we even start, this feud should have ended with ‘Blood And Guts’. A ‘War Games’ style bout usually is seen as a blow-off to a major program. These two factions had some of the most compelling beatdowns, promos, and faceoffs we’ve seen on a pro wrestling cable television series in years.

It led to the well-received ‘Blood And Guts’ match on the May 5th episode of AEW Dynamite. One in which we saw The Pinnacle emerged victorious, MJF throw Chris Jericho off a cage and ended with a controversial crash landing. Potentially to save face, we are getting a rematch just 25 days later with the stipulation that if The Inner Circle loses, they will have to split up the group.

I can listen to arguments for having this match, especially with the aforementioned stipulation stated above. I also believe this will be highly entertaining, zero qualms from me there. These 10 men went to battle in spectacular fashion once, they will do it again at Double Or Nothing.

The Pinnacle should and will take this match for a couple of reasons. First, The Inner Circle is ready to disband. Santana and Ortiz are due for a shot and run with the AEW World Tag Team titles. Sammy Guevara can mount a highly prolific singles competitor and Chris Jericho can go on tour with his band ‘Fozzy.’

Lastly, I can’t see a third contest between these two factions being better than the previous 2 matches. One thing is for sure, you’re going to see fireworks, comedy, tension and a whole lot of entertainment.

Prediction: The Pinnacle def. The Inner Circle, causing them to disband as a faction.

A triple threat AEW World Championship match: Kenny Omega vs. Orange Cassidy vs PAC

We are looking at the first triple threat main event in AEW pay-per-view history. While the backstory warrants these three men squaring off, it feels a little rushed. Simply based on the fact that Kenny Omega has been wrestling on IMPACT more since he won the AEW World title than his home promotion.

PAC and Orange Cassidy are both worthy of this spot. These 2 men have incredible chemistry in-ring, as shown in their 1st All Elite Wrestling PPV meeting back at ‘Revolution’ in February of 2020. PAC and Kenny Omega have had two phenomenal single’s matches over the last 18 months as well. There will be no shortage of amazing pro wrestling in this championship match.

Orange Cassidy looks to be the crowd favorite by an overwhelming margin. With a capacity crowd in attendance at Double Or Nothing this Sunday, you can them to be raucous in support of the ‘King of Sloth Style’. They have been backing him since debut with AEW at Double Or Nothing in 2019.

Kenny Omega has been taking unsolicited shots at Cassidy over the last 3 weeks, putting down his seemingly disinterested character. He even interfered on Orange’s behalf in his number one contender’s match with PAC on Dynamite two weeks ago. Likely proclaiming that PAC is the more looming threat to dethrone Omega as AEW world champion.

We will have one sensational main event to cap off this pay-per-view. I would be slightly surprised if they pull the trigger on Orange Cassidy to be the top dog in the company. The crowd would go bonkers at Double Or Nothing if it happened, but I can’t see them going in that direction.

PAC will be a future AEW World champion, it just won’t happen on this night. Kenny Omega will remerge victorious in what is sure to be a roof-blowing main event.

Prediction: Kenny Omega def. Orange Cassidy and PAC to retain the AEW World title
