Mark Henry signs multi-year deal with AEW

At Double or Nothing, Tony Schiavone introduced Mark Henry as an analyst for the upcoming AEW: Rampage showToday, it was announced that “The World’s Strongest Man” has signed a multi-year deal with AEW.

In addition to being an analyst, Henry will also be a coach, scout, and mentor. As a WWE Hall of Famer, Olympian, and radio host, he will bring a multitude of experience to AEW. He joins a stacked list of recent AEW signees including Paul Wight, Sting, and Christian Cage.

Mark Henry will be with AEW for at least the next few years.

AEW: Rampage will premiere on Friday, August 13 at 10 PM ET on TNT. It will be an hour-long show that compliments AEW: Dynamite. As Cody Rhodes mentioned on the media call, there will be no split roster and the shows will not be in competition with the other shows.

During the media scrum after Double or Nothing, Tony Khan disclosed that someone from within AEW will be announced as another commentator for AEW: Rampage. He hinted that this person is also a wrestler. The announcement will be coming soon.
