WWE Raw has turned things around on the road to WWE Money In The Bank 2021. On this week’s WWE Raw, there are three scheduled matches: Jaxson Ryker vs. Elias in a Strap Match, Raw Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley, Mandy Rose, and Dana Brooke vs. Charlotte Flair and WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Natalya and Tamina in a six-woman tag match, and Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton vs. AJ Styles in a Last Chance MITB Qualifying Triple Threat Match. It must be noted that Jinder Mahal hinted that he will screw someone to get himself in the MITB Ladder Match.

WWE is three weeks away from WWE MITB 2021. There are already four matches scheduled for this PPV event: Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Kofi Kingston for the WWE Title, Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Charlotte for the Raw Women’s Title, Men’s MITB Ladder Match, and Women’s MITB Ladder Match. There are also some ongoing title feuds that could eventually be added to the card: Sheamus (c) vs. Humberto Carillo for the U.S. Title, AJ Styles & Omos (c) vs. Viking Raiders for the Raw Tag Titles, and Natalya & Tamina (c) vs. Mandy Rose & Dana Brooke for the Women’s Tag Titles.

With that being addressed, it’s now time to preview and predict what will actually occur on this week’s episode of WWE Raw.

WWE Raw is scheduled to take place on June 28, 2021, at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT live on the USA Network. Here are some predictions for this week’s show.

Jaxson Ryker vs. Elias [Strap Match]

On this week’s WWE Raw, Jaxson Ryker is scheduled to battle Elias in a Strap Match. These two superstars were formerly a tag team and had some form of dissension during their Raw Tag Team Championship match against AJ Styles and Omos on the May 31, 2021, episode of WWE Raw. Afterward, Ryker and Elias faced off in two singles matches that resulted in count outs because Elias was avoiding Ryker either because he was fearful of losing clean or merely playing mind games to test Ryker’s patience.

Regardless of Elias’ plan, it seems that WWE is behind a push for Ryker and has already given up on the Elias push that was rumored last year when he returned. In fact, Ryker was seen backstage on last week’s WWE Raw to hype up his strap match. He was acting as a masochist by whipping himself with the strap while explaining to Mansoor his game plan and rationale behind his upcoming strap match. Elias was not even featured on last week’s episode, so it has become clear that this match was booked for Ryker to win and move on to new feuds in his gradual push.

Prediction: Jaxson Ryker

Rhea Ripley, Mandy Rose, and Dana Brooke vs. Charlotte Flair, Natalya, and Tamina [Six-woman Tag Match]

On this week’s WWE Raw, Rhea Ripley, Mandy Rose, and Dana Brooke are scheduled to battle Charlotte Flair, Natalya, and Tamina in six-woman tag action. Ripley and Charlotte are already booked to battle for the Raw Women’s Title at WWE MITB 2021, and it’s only a matter of time until the WWE also confirms a Women’s Tag Team Title match between the two tag teams. There is no other functional tag team in the division, so Rose and Brooke should automatically be the number one contenders after their encounters with Natalya and Tamina in the past few weeks.

Since Natalya defeated Rose via submission and Charlotte defeated Ripley via disqualification at WWE HIAC 2021, Ripley, Rose, and Brooke will get a win back here to fulfill 50/50 booking. Not only will Ripley solidify her role as champion, but Rose and Brooke will also further solidify their spots as the number one contenders to the Women’s Tag Team Titles. Rose and Brooke will dethrone Natalya and Tamina at WWE MITB 2021 and revisit their feud with Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax at SummerSlam, where they can seek redemption for their entrance botch at WrestleMania 37.

Prediction: Rhea Ripley, Mandy Rose, and Dana Brooke

Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton vs. AJ Styles [Last Chance MITB Qualifying Triple Threat Match]

On this week’s WWE Raw, Drew McIntyre, Randy Orton, and AJ Styles are scheduled to battle in a Last Chance MITB Qualifying Triple Threat Match in what will be a rematch from the January 13, 2020, Royal Rumble Go-Home Show. Last week, McIntyre, Orton, and Styles all lost their MITB Qualifying matches to Riddle, John Morrison, and Ricochet, respectively. Now, they have a second chance to get into the MITB Ladder Match, even though U.S. Champ Sheamus, Jeff Hardy, Cedric Alexander, and Jinder Mahal raised complaints about not even receiving one opportunity to qualify for MITB.

Indeed, Jinder Mahal returned last week and hinted that he will screw someone to get himself in the MITB Ladder Match. He emphasized that McIntyre has squandered too many title opportunities and should thereby not even be considered for a spot in the MITB Ladder Match. Henceforth, it would be sensible for Jinder Mahal and his two sidekicks to attack McIntyre in the backstage area. That way, McIntyre will be unable to compete and Jinder Mahal can replace McIntyre in this triple threat and defeat two foes with whom he is very familiar.

Indeed, Jinder Mahal dethroned Randy Orton to win his first WWE Championship at WWE Backlash 2017 and lost that title to AJ Styles later that year. Jinder Mahal will move on to win MITB. However, he will lose that briefcase to Drew McIntyre at SummerSlam because McIntyre will return with a vengeance for losing his opportunity after Mahal’s debilitating backstage attacks. Once McIntyre wins the briefcase from Mahal, he will cash in on Lashley and win back the WWE Championship at SummerSlam in front of the fans, as was originally planned at ‘Mania.

Prediction: Jinder Mahal
