WWE Raw Predictions: Charlotte Flair will swindle Rhea Ripley

WWE Raw has turned things around on the road to WWE Money In The Bank 2021. On this week’s episode, there are two scheduled matches: Bobby Lashley and MVP vs. The New Day, and Ricochet vs. John Morrison. Miz TV will host a segment amongst the qualified Men’s MITB participants from Raw: Drew McIntyre, Riddle, Ricochet, and John Morrison. Also, Charlotte Flair is booked to provide a medical update since Rhea Ripley chop blocked her after their 6-woman tag match on last week’s episode. Will Charlotte Flair be written off television before her title match at MITB?
WWE is two weeks away from WWE MITB 2021. There are already four Raw-affiliated matches scheduled for this PPV event: Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Kofi Kingston for the WWE Title, Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Charlotte for the Raw Women’s Title, Men’s MITB Ladder Match, and Women’s MITB Ladder Match. There are also some ongoing title feuds that could eventually be added to the card: AJ Styles & Omos (c) vs. Viking Raiders for the Raw Tag Titles and Natalya & Tamina (c) vs. Mandy Rose & Dana Brooke for the Women’s Tag Titles.
With that being addressed, it’s now time to preview and predict what will actually occur on this week’s episode of WWE Raw.
WWE Raw is scheduled to take place on July 5, 2021, at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT live on the USA Network. Here are some predictions for this week’s show.
Bobby Lashley & MVP vs. The New Day [Tag Match]
On last week’s WWE Raw, Kofi Kingston delivered a Trouble in Paradise to MVP to make a statement to Bobby Lashley and prove that MVP can compete in the ring again. Although Lashley should remain strong, the bigger picture here is building up Kofi Kingston for his WWE Title match against Lashley while getting revenge for what Lashley did to Xavier Woods two weeks ago. Kingston will inevitably lose to Lashley at MITB, but pinning MVP in this tag match should provide Kingston with some much needed babyface momentum and hope for a miracle in two weeks.
Prediction: The New Day
Ricochet vs. John Morrison [Grudge Match]
On last week’s WWE Raw, Ricochet and John Morrison’s match resulted in a double countout after Ricochet launched himself onto Morrison with a flying crossbody outside the ring. Henceforth, they are scheduled to battle in a rematch this week. Now that fans are coming back, it seems that the WWE is on the verge of rebuilding Ricochet’s momentum as a singles star. The same could be said for Morrison, but Ricochet is the babyface who needs the huge pop from the crowd when he performs at MITB. Consequently, the “one and only” will pick up the win here.
Prediction: Ricochet
Will Charlotte Flair Swindle Rhea Ripley?
Charlotte Flair is set to provide a medical update on WWE Raw this week since Ripley chop blocked her after their tag match on last week’s episode. Clearly, this is a storyline injury, but even that chop block would not be enough to write Charlotte off television. Since Charlotte is the daughter of “the dirtiest player in the game”, she will have something up her sleeve. After faking this injury, she will use her privilege to persuade Sonya Deville to strip Ripley of the title since Ripley’s actions last week were not befitting of a champion. Deville will agree and hand the title to Charlotte.
Prediction: Rhea Ripley Will Be Stripped Of The Raw Women’s Championship
