WWE Raw Predictions: Goldberg Will Replace Kofi Kingston

1.) Bobby Lashley (w/MVP) vs. Xavier Woods (w/Kofi Kingston) [Grudge Match]

On WWE Raw, WWE Champion Bobby Lashley is scheduled to battle Xavier Woods, in what should be the main event of the show. Clearly, Bobby Lashley will defeat Xavier Woods just like he did two weeks ago to assert his dominance as WWE Champion before battling Kofi Kingston in their scheduled WWE Championship match at WWE MITB 2021. However, there is a slight caveat pertaining to that scheduled title match at MITB. Will Kofi Kingston actually get his WWE Championship match against Bobby Lashley and lose in front of the fans?

As illusory as Kofi Mania 2 might seem to many hardcore fans, it would still be false hope in the eye of the common viewer. Considering the insurmountable support Kingston gets from both the mainstream audience and hardcore fans, the idea of WWE booking Kingston to lose a WWE Championship match in front of the fans would be ill-advised. In fact, the rampant rumors of Goldberg returning to challenge Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship could be WWE’s NEXT way out of this mess.

Would fans prefer Bobby Lashley vs. Goldberg over Bobby Lashley vs. Kofi Kingston? Probably not, but the WWE will realize that it dug itself in a hole and cop-out by bringing a part-timer back to take away an opportunity from a diligent, competent, main-event caliber full-time performer while eliciting a cheap pop and ratings spike. Kingston was made for the main event scene, but the WWE will never learn because it is still living in the past when it should be building its future. Goldberg will indeed replace Kofi Kingston in this WWE Championship match.

Prediction: Bobby Lashley; Goldberg Will Replace Kofi Kingston
