The NXT brand is in an interesting place. While wrestling fans long for the days of the NXT from years ago, it is still the most consistently good aspect of WWE content on a weekly basis. Another edition of TakeOver is coming up, with NXT TakeOver 36 is scheduled for Sunday, August 22 from the Capitol Wrestling Center in Orlando, Florida. This event will be available for viewing on the WWE Network which is a part of the Peacock streaming service.

Weekly NXT television usually puts on the best in-ring content and has some storylines that flow better than a lot of what is seen on main roster WWE. Unfortunately, the brand has been officially tapped as “development,” which is especially clearer with the treatment of NXT Champion, Karrion Kross, on the main roster. Still, that doesn’t stop some of the best wrestling in the industry from happening on TakeOver, as it seems like many of the competitors step into the ring with the intention to prove others wrong. Looking at how the card for TakeOver 36 is shaping up, this event looks to be one of the best for the year from the WWE.

As the card is updated, the matches will be included here.
