Hey, there. How’s it going? If you’re reading this, there’s a good chance you’re a fellow wrestling fan. As such, it’s a given that you know a thing or two about tag teams.

Just as the sky is blue until the grey clouds shield its sunny sweet beauty; stables are NOT meant to last in the world of pro wrestling.

Enter Randy Orton and Matt Riddle. They are currently the reigning WWE Raw Tag Team Champions.

One’s a cold, calculating, venomous viper; his partner is none other than that easy-going, scooter strolling, chill to the max Matt Riddle… err just Riddle.

After reading that last bit and given Orton’s long-standing history with tag team partners, it really isn’t all that hard to predict what the future holds for everyone’s friendly, neighborhood bro. Hence the reason it might be a good idea to take the opposite route when the inevitable happens.

The odd pairing of two totally different personalities is nothing new for WWE or wrestling, period, for that matter. From the Rock ‘n’ Sock connection to Booker T & Goldust, there’s no denying that odd stables seem to have a proven track record of success.

When it’s finally time for RK-Bro to disband, should The Viper do what a snake is known for, or should Riddle chop the snake’s head off before he gets bitten?

Or I guess they could always just quietly disband…

To be honest, all three choices sound logical. But c’mon. Be real with yourself. You want excitement. You thrive for the thrills. You’re a wrestling fanatic because you seek an escape from that deep, dark, depressing black hole known as the same old, same old. AKA, your life.

That’s one of the main reasons you continue to watch WWE, AEW, Impact Wrestling, or any other wrestling organization despite a few bad decisions.

With all that being said, it’d be pretty hard for a Riddle heel turn to not be interesting. Even if it only kept the fans interested for a couple of weeks, it would still be worth it.

Now I’m well aware that unexpected events on WWE programming aren’t always the answer.

Sometimes a surprise can ruin what would be the makings of a great feud. But, in this case, it might just be what needs to happen.

We’ve yet to see Matt Riddle play the baddie and Orton has almost always been known to be a guy you can’t trust.

Next. Angelo Dawkins is confident about the Street Profits. dark

So yeah, Riddle turning on Orton might just be the shocking heel turn we all never knew we needed to see.
