WWE SmackDown Results November, 5 2021 live from Evansville, Indiana

The show kicks off with the Universal Champion, Roman Reigns, along with Paul Heyman and the SmackDown Tag Team Champions, The Usos. Michael Cole revealed that Reigns was on vacation last week. Roman Reigns talks about the WWE Universe having a bad week last week because The Tribal Chief wasn’t there.

He also says Brock Lesnar had a bad week after being fined $1 million dollars. Roman said he was on a private island running around naked which his wife loved. Reigns then turns his attention to The Usos for losing to King Woods and Sir Kofi Kingston last week. The Usos say they are going to make The New Day acknowledge Roman Reigns tonight.

King Woods and Sir Kofi Kingston then make their way to the stage. Woods talks about a table not being out here because the King belongs at the Head of the Table. King Woods proposes a challenge to face Jimmy Uso.

Woods says if he loses to Jimmy then he will acknowledge Roman Reigns. If Jimmy loses, he must bend the knee for King Woods. The Usos say The Bloodline bend the knee for nobody. Reigns then takes the mic and says The Bloodline accepts. Yes, “who will bend the knee?” is the hook for tonight’s show to keep everyone watching. Come on, now.

A recap is shown from last week when Shayna Baszler defeated Naomi with Sonya Deville as special guest referee. Sonya Deville is interviewed in gorilla before the match starts and claims she is responsible for creating a fire inside of Naomi.

Naomi vs. Shayna Baszler

Naomi puts in an impressive performance, even pulling out some unique offence, to overcome Shayna Baszler via pinfall.

Winner: Naomi

Sonya Deville comes out after the match and states that Naomi had hold of the ropes and restarted the match. Of course, Shayna gets the upper hand and makes Naomi pass out to the Kirifuda Clutch.

Winner (after the restart): Shayna Baszler

Backstage, Roman Reigns says he goes away for one week and everything falls apart. The Usos laugh and Reigns snaps at them. Roman questions The Usos about losing. The Uso’s say they got this.

A vignette is shown showcasing Xia Li, who is coming soon.

Backstage, Kayla Braxton interviews Ridge Holland. Holland speaks of his admiration for Sheamus and his style and says it is bloody bad news for the SmackDown roster.

Backstage, another interview, this time with Shotzi. She says he has had enough. Shotzi says she lost title opportunities, her tag team partner and lost the support of the WWE Universe. She says that Sasha Banks’ patronising was her breaking point. Sasha Banks is now her target.

Los Lotharios (Angel Garza & Humberto Carrillo) vs. Cesaro & Mansoor

They show an interview with Los Lotharios DURING their match. Why not before the match? Los Lotharios pick up the win after some great teamwork, with Angel Garza pinning Cesaro to pick up the victory.

Winners: Los Lotharios

Backstage, Jeff Hardy is talking with Aliyah. They then end up talking with Sami Zayn who gives Aliyah some tips, specifically “pantsuit.”

Drew McIntyre vs. Ricochet in a McIntyre open challenge

Before the match, Ricochet says there’s nothing stopping him from coming out here and slapping McIntyre right in the mouth. Ricochet does end up slapping McIntyre which fires him up as the bell rings. An interview with Mustafa Ali is shown DURING the match.

What is going on with these taking away from the action? McIntyre wins by delivering a Claymore whilst Ricochet was performing a moonsault from the top rope. Great visual.

Winner: Drew McIntyre

Backstage, Kayla Braxton interviews King Woods and Sir Kofi about who will bend the knee later.

Backstage in the locker room, Mustafa Ali wants to team with Ricochet next week. Ricochet says Ali is not a winner; he’s a whiner. He also calls Ali a jerk.

Happy Corbin with Madcap Moss make their way to the ring. They host Happy Talk with The Viking Raiders. Corbin and Moss make jokes before they introduce The Viking Raiders. The Raiders say that Corbin and Moss don’t make them happy, they make them miserable. They say that Happy Talk sucks. Madcap Moss tries to tell them a joke which makes The Viking Raiders mad and they trash the Happy Talk set.

Happy Corbin & Madcap Moss vs. The Viking Raiders

A match is made during the commercial break by Adam Pearce. After some great action, Corbin and Moss walk out of the match.

Backstage, Sami Zayn speaks with Hit Row. Zayn says their entrance a few weeks ago was flat and it sucked. Zayn says they have huge potential to be big stars on SmackDown. Hit Row wants Sami to show them how to make an entrance.

Sami Zayn makes his entrance as “The Leader of the Locker Room” to his entrance theme and rocks out to it. Zayn says that’s what it takes. He then introduces Hit Row. The group walk down the ramp talking about Sami Zayn and say Sami sucks. Zayn tries to exit and head backstage but Hit Row block his path. They eventually let him pass.

Backstage, The Usos are pepping themselves up. Roman Reigns remains backstage on his couch for the match questions how many problems he has to fix around here.

SmackDown Tag Team Champion, Jimmy Uso w/ Jey Uso vs. King Woods w/ Kofi Kingston – the loser has to bend the knee

Another entertaining match between these two, as always, as King Woods picks up the victory. Jimmy Uso must now bend the knee to the King.

Winners: King Woods & Sir Kofi Kingston

After the match, Jimmy Uso almost bends the knee to King Woods until Roman Reigns appears and Superman Punches King Woods. The Bloodline lays out King Woods and Sir Kofi to end this weeks episode. “Show up next week and I’ll show you what a King looks like!” Reigns says to King Woods on the canvas.
