Survivor Series 2021 is in the books and it was an entertaining event overall with tons of great action.

The weeks leading up to Survivor Series included plenty of tributes and highlights of The Rock – who made his WWE debut at this PPV. They even had the film, Red Notice, weaved throughout the show. All strongly hinted at a possible surprise appearance from the man himself (SPOILER: the People’s Champion never appeared).

Despite that, WWE’s last PPV of 2021 was quite eventful.

Raw went on to dominate the battle for brand supremacy with a 5-2 win. We got to see a fiery and gripping match from Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair (who absolutely delivered); Shinsuke Nakamura picking up a win via DQ; Seth Rollins getting the dub for Team Raw; Omos win the battle royal (but not the pizza); RKBro showing The Usos that they are the ones; Bianca Belair overcoming a 4-1 deficit to become the lone survivor for Team Raw; and Roman Reigns surviving with a narrow victory over Big E – who gave Roman a run for his money.

Aside from the matches, we also got a special on-screen appearance from the chairman himself, Vince McMahon, bringing with him a prized treasure.

Survivor Series is not known for advancing storylines. Their main draw is to see champions and superstars from each show face each other in a battle for the best brand in WWE – but even that aspect was not a point of emphasis this year. There was no brand invasion or cohesive build to the PPV, so the card felt like a bunch of exhibition matches.

But nonetheless, there is ONE story coming out of the PPV that could be very interesting to see moving forward.

The most interesting angle coming out of Survivor Series is…an egg (No, seriously).

As mentioned before, Vince McMahon brought with him a prized treasure – a shiny, golden egg. What is the significance of this particular egg, you may ask? It is Cleopatra’s Egg from the Netflix film, Red Notice (which stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson), which Vince says is worth $100 million.

Vince invited people to his office throughout the night. Roman Reigns was the first. At this point, the egg is sitting inside a glass case. They briefly talk about the inspiring journey of The Rock’s career and the value of the egg.

Then, Sonya Deville and Adam Pearce are in his office…but the egg is now missing from the case. The WWE chairman was livid and wanted to get to the bottom of this. Pearce mentions that it could be one of the superstars. Vince tells him to interrogate every one of them and if they don’t find it by the end of the night, every wrestler – including Smackdown – must show up on Raw the following night.

Well, the egg still hasn’t been found and the search continues on to Monday Night Raw, which is looking to be a packed show.

Who took the egg? Could it be possible that we see The Great One return to Raw? We’ll just have to tune in to find out.

What are your thoughts on this year’s Survivor Series?
