WWE NXT WarGames PPV card and event information
WarGames is a match stipulation that has a lot of history across professional wrestling. WWE has its own iteration with NXT WarGames. The PPV is scheduled for Sunday, December 5 from the WWE Performance Center.
NXT WarGames is a major moment for the revamp of WWE NXT. It’s a clear delineation where the fresh faces are being placed against the “old guard” from NXT of years past. Take the naming of the teams in the men’s match as Team Black & Gold versus Team 2.0. While this will not be the final moment to mark the changing of directions, there’s still a lot of opportunities to feature the newer names on the brand.
The full card for the PPV is below, as always subject to change:
- Raquel Gonzalez, Io Shirai, Cora Jade, and Kay Lee Ray versus Dakota Kai, Mandy Rose, Gigi Dolin, and Jacy Jayne in a Women’s WarGames match.
- Cameron Grimes versus Duke Hudson in a Hair versus Hair match.
- Imperium versus Kyle O’Reilly and Von Wagner in a tag team match for the NXT Tag Team Championship.
- Roderick Strong with The Diamond Mine versus Joe Gacy with Harland in a singles match for the NXT Cruiserweight Championship.
- Tommaso Ciampa, Johnny Gargano, Pete Dunne, and LA Knight versus Bron Breakker, Carmelo Hayes, Grayson Waller, and Tony D’Angelo in a Men’s WarGames match.
