Back in July, Bayley announced that she was injured and would be missing some time. The longest-reigning Smackdown Women’s Champion suffered a torn ACL while training at the WWE Performance Center. She was getting ready for an “I Quit” match with Bianca Belair at WWE’s Money In The Bank.

Bayley gave an injury update recently, she pretty much said that everything is going great and she will be back soon. “I’m not going to tell you when, and I don’t want all these idiots watching to know when,” says Bayley, “but I’m going to be back soon…” This leads to the next question when Bayley returns to the WWE, which brand will she be going to?

Bayley Returns To Raw?

In total, Raw has approximately 10 women on their roster. Surprised? Me too. Although, we really only see the same two to three in the Raw Women’s Championship picture. The Raw Women’s Champion, Becky Lynch is currently in a program with Liv Morgan, and that could possibly last until Wrestlemania.

If Bayley returned at Raw, she would most likely be thrown right into the Raw Women’s Championship picture. However, it’s also possible to have her come back and finish off her feud with Bianca Belair as well. Thus, letting Liv and Becky finish their program.

It would make the most sense to have her return and finish off her program with Belair. They were on a collision course to an “I Quit” match ahead of Bayley’s injury. It’s safe to say, there will still be some bad blood between the two women when she does come back.

Bayley Returns to Smackdown?

The Smackdown women’s roster consists of ten women as well. The Smackdown Women’s Champion, Charlotte, is currently teasing a storyline with Toni Storm, who is fairly new to the main roster. This is a fresh idea and something I am really looking forward to.

We are currently seeing a few other programs taking place in the Smackdown women’s division right now as well. Shotzi and Sasha Banks are embroiled in a rivalry, and Sonya Deville and Naomi also have a program going on right now. It’s nice to see that WWE is doing more than just one program for the Women’s Championship.

If Bayley returned, it’s tough to say where she would really fit in on Smackdown. Sure, you can throw her in another rivalry with Sasha, but how many times are they going to do that before it gets old. You can also have her go up against some of the fresh faces, such as Toni Storm.

Where Should Bayley Go?

Bayley should go to the Raw brand and here’s why. Smackdown already has a lot of star power. Charlotte and Sasha Banks are easily two of the biggest women in the WWE right now. They are working with new faces who recently showed up after the WWE Draft and that is refreshing.

The safest and best thing to do right now would be to have Bayley go to Raw when she returns. There she could continue her heel run, as well as finish up her program with Bianca Belair. The Raw women’s division also lacks new faces, unlike Smackdown’s. Bayley going to Raw could open up a load of potential matches. She could face the likes of Liv Morgan, Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, Carmella, and when she returns, Alexa Bliss.
