2021 was a heck of a year for AEW.  The promotion has had a lot of significant wins this past year, including two of the best pay-per-view shows in recent memory in All Out and Full Gear.  All Elite Wrestling was the first promotion to give us shows with live fans again, and that is something many of us will not forget anytime soon.

They have also made some really nice under-the-radar talent signings, bringing in the likes of Lee Moriarty, 2.0, Daniel Garcia, Jamie Hayter, and Bobby Fish.

The promotion also signed some truly top-level talent in Malakai Black, Andrade El Idolo, Jay Lethal, CM Punk, and Ruby Soho.  And to top it all off AEW was able to lure two top-tier talents in Bryan Danielson and Adam Cole away from WWE and NXT, respectively.

And if you believe AEW President, Tony Khan, the promotion is just getting started.

With a seemingly endless line of talented free agents, a wave of momentum that we haven’t seen in recent years, and a vast pro wrestling knowledge at his disposal, it is very difficult to not believe every word that Khan speaks.

So what exactly does Khan have in mind for the promotion in 2022?   Only Tony Khan knows.

But given the current state of the promotion, the free agents that are or will soon be available, and the current storylines taking place within AEW, here are my best guesses for some of the things that we might see in the promotion once the calendar turns to 2022.

Five fearless predictions for All Elite Wrestling in 2022.
