Big E (c) vs. Seth Rollins vs. Kevin Owens vs. Bobby Lashley [WWE Championship]

Even though Seth Rollins earned a one on one title match against WWE Champion Big E, the WWE decided to neglect his victory and book a fatal four way title match that includes Kevin Owens and former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley. Although the latter should win the WWE Championship after pinning all of his opponents in one night to get added to this title match, Big E is very likely retaining the title to continue his one-on-one feud with Rollins on the road to WrestleMania. Kevin Owens is merely in this match to eat the pinfall and protect both Rollins and Lashley in defeat.

Once Big E retains the title by pinning Owens, he will very likely defend the title against Seth Rollins at the Royal Rumble because Rollins will have an excuse for a one on one title match after winning the aforementioned number one contender’s ladder match against Kevin Owens, Finn Balor, and Rey Mysterio a few weeks ago. Since Rollins is a former Royal Rumble Winner like Bianca Belair, he would be fitting for a title match at the Royal Rumble in what would be an NXT Title rematch from 2013. It wouldn’t be surprising if this feud is extended to Mania.

Prediction: Big E

Roman Reigns (c) vs. Brock Lesnar (w/Paul Heyman) [Universal Championship]

Now that Paul Heyman is back with Brock Lesnar, the seeds are already being planted for the end of Roman Reigns’ Universal Championship reign. Most of the prestige of Reigns’ title reign can be attributed to Paul Heyman, and this reign has already gone stale. Although it would be preferable for a full-timer to dethrone Roman and become elevated as the next top star on SmackDown (*cough* Drew McIntyre), now would be a good time for a title change because Lesnar has been the biggest highlight on SmackDown recently.

Alternatively, Lesnar could win via DQ and bury everyone in the Royal Rumble to get another title shot against Reigns at Mania whilst WWE tries to find a way to add Drew McIntyre to that match after he fails to win the Rumble. At WrestleMania 34, Brock Lesnar defeated Roman Reigns. At WrestleMania 35, Roman Reigns defeated Drew McIntyre. At WrestleMania 36, Drew McIntyre defeated Brock Lesnar. At WrestleMania 38, Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar vs. Drew McIntyre for the Universal Championship would be some convenient 33:33:33 booking.

Prediction: Brock Lesnar
