It’s the holiday season and Ring of Honor is in giving mode as two big title matches were announced to feature ROH titles in other promotions.

First, Jonathan Gresham is set to face off against Chris Sabin at Impact Hard to Kill. Gresham picked up the title by defeating Jay Lethal at ROH Final Battle back on December 11. This was the final ROH event as the promotion shutters its doors for a potential relaunch at some point in 2022.

Sabin is a well-known performer across many organizations in wrestling. Best known for his time as a part of the Motor City Machineguns with Alex Shelley, he’s seen success across as a singles wrestler as well. He took to Twitter to comment on the upcoming match.

“Not many I respect as much as Jonathan Gresham in this business,” Sabin posted. “I am excited. I am Chris Sabin.”

Impact Hard to Kill goes down on Saturday, January 8 in Dallas, Texas.

The second match features Bandido defending “his” ROH Championship against Baron Black at TERMINUS.

Bandido was originally scheduled to defend his title against Gresham at Final Battle but was pulled from the match due to COVID. TERMINUS is set for Sunday, January 16 in Atlanta, Georgia.
