The most stupendous Wrestlemania has come and went, and for all of the criticism about the card and build, gave us a memorable show on both nights. Wrestlemania night two had seven matches scheduled with three title defenses, and still managed to squeeze in a canceled match from night one.
Wrestlemania night two’s most memorable moments
Competing with Cody Rhodes returning, or Stone Cold Steve Austin’s first match in 19 years is no easy feat. However, Wrestlemania night two built on Saturday’s momentum with a ton of surprises packed into the card. Here are my picks for Sunday’s top three moments of the show.

Farewell to the Game
The show would kick off with the theme of HHH who performed his entire entrance and welcomed fans to night two of Wrestlemania. The cerebral assassin would next place his boots in the center of the ring before exiting. It has been a well-chronicled week for the Game who announced his in-ring retirement with ESPN recently. While there will be a certain hall of fame induction in the near future, this felt monumental to have HHH walk the Wrestlemania ramp one final time. This was the best possible way to start the show.

The Bodyslam
Who would’ve thought that Sami Zayn versus Johnny Knoxville could steal the show? Zayn made Knoxville look competitive throughout his selling, and played up the shock value of all the props around the ring. Zayn reminded everyone how great of a performer he is in this match. He took everything Knoxville threw his way. From airhorns to mousetraps, and detonators, the Jackass star provided fans with the WWE version of a deathmatch.
However, a moment during the fight put the match over, and that is when Zayn looked under the ring to find an angry Weeman. Weeman bit Sami Zayn and unleashed a flurry of attacks that led back to the ring. He would eventually bodyslam Zayn which erupted the fans in the stadium. This match exceeded every expectation and the bodyslam is immediately in the same class as Hogan and Andre.

Austin and McMahon Nostalgia
Everyone loves a good nostalgia act, and none better than the rivalry between Stone Cold Steve Austin and Vince McMahon. To the surprise of many, the 76-year-old chairman worked a match against Pat McAfee to avenge the loss of his protege Austin Theory. After defeating Pat and throwing salt in the wound, Vince would lock eyes with the man that’s caused him so much pain over the years.
Vince sold the glass shattering a little too soon, but this moment set the crowd on fire and Vince showed he’s still in incredible shape. This particular stunner to Vince is possibly the worst of all time, but I much respect for McMahon even taking the bump. Getting a 20-minute match was one surprise, but night two provided more of Stone Cold’s greatest hits by interacting with the boss. Nobody was safe from Stone Cold this weekend, for he took out McAfee after a beer, which goes to show “DTA” rules are always in effect.
