In April of 2021, Skye Blue made her debut for All Elite Wrestling. She came up just short in her debut match against Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. on AEW Dark: Elevation. Since then, we have seen Skye grow tremendously as a wrestler.

Since her debut, we have seen Skye wrestle the likes of Abadon, Riho, Red Velvet, Jade Cargill, Emi Sakura, Serena Deeb, and most recently, Marina Shafir on the April 13, 2022 episode of AEW: Dynamite. Although early in her career, Skye Blue has the potential to be a future women’s champion in All Elite Wrestling.

Who is Skye Blue?

Skye Blue has been affiliated with AEW for the past year. She got her start in professional wrestling back in 2017. Her first match happened in Premier Pro Wrestling against another great young star, Sierra. Blue came up just short in this match, but this was the start of something much bigger for her.

After getting her start at Premier Pro Wrestling in Illinois, she would wrestle locally in different promotions all over Illinois. She would also be brought out to shows in Wisconsin, Indiana, Tennessee, and Florida, just to name a few. Blue did a good job at making a name for herself, so much so, that AEW took notice.

Skye Blue is a former GPW Battle Royal Champion, CSW Women’s Champion, ZERO1 USA Women’s Champion, and is the current AAW Women’s Champion. Blue was also PWI’s #74 out of the top 150 Women’s Wrestlers of the Year in 2021. She is no stranger to gold and accolades, and her time in All Elite Wrestling will be no different.

Skye Blue is Destined for Gold in AEW

Skye Blue has been featured against some of the top women in All Elite Wrestling for the past year. Blue wrestled Jade Cargill, who is the current TBS Champion, back in October of 2021. She also more recently wrestled Marina Shafir, who is the current #1 Contender for the TBS Championship on the April 13, 2022 episode of AEW: Dynamite.

She is mainly seen on AEW: Dark and AEW Dark: Elevation. Her most recent match on Dark came on April 15th, 2022 where she and Anna Jay teamed up and beat Raychell Rose and The Bunny. She showcases her talents and it’s easy to see how much she has grown as a wrestler.

AEW has a lot of trust in Skye Blue, putting her in matches with some of the top women’s talents they have to offer. This says a lot for the future of Skye Blue in the company. Blue has all the potential in the world to become a future AEW Women’s Champion.
